Job Title: Transport & Maintenance Assistant (3-month contract)

Our client, a Logistics Company is seeking a Transport & Maintenance Assistant.  Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

1. Conducts routine checks on vehicles to ascertain their road worthiness and assist drivers in maintaining vehicle log books

 

2. Report all maintenance cases for vehicles to the District Managers for repairs

 

3. Plan maintenance schedule for vehicles according to CAIPA standard operational vehicle maintenance schedules

 

4. Ensures that vehicle fuel levels are at a minimum balance at all times

 

5. Provide data on fuel usage for the attention of the District Manager and the Area Manager

 

6. Ensures the availability of adequate security at fleet site

 

7. Supervise and report on the issuance of fuel supplies to fleet vehicles

 

8. Conducts any other responsibilities as the project requires/as requested by the District Manager
