Job Title: Project Manager                                                         
Date: 6 April 2016
Duration of project: Three (3) months
Experienced Project Manager required for Financial Services project in Freetown.  S/he will take on the management of the project with the goal of delivering the project on time, within budget and scope.





  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of the project

  • Ensure that the project is delivered on time, within scope and budget

  • Ensure resource availability and allocation

  • Manage/record changes to the project scope, schedule and costs using appropriate verification techniques

  • Report and escalate to management as needed

  • Report any delay or change in scope/delivery time

  • Successfully manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders

  • Review requirements and interpret their meaning ensuring clear and consistent communication to all parties

  • Perform risk management to minimise project risks

  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation: Detailed project plan to monitor and track progress on MS project with multiple dependencies and maintain it on a daily/weekly basis as required



  • Good educational background

  • Must be based in Freetown for the duration of the project (June - September)

  • Proven working experience (5 or more years) in project management, with at least two references

  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Solid organisational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Project & Office

  • PMP/ PRINCE II certification is a plus

  • Proficiency in software implementation integration

  • Knowledge of payment systems and solutions is a plus

  • Knowledge of PCI-DSS environments is a plus
