We aim at facilitating access to affordable finance and networking opportunities for the entrepreneurial driven African youth via the partners, associates and sponsors.
JOB SUMMARY
Craving 4 Development are looking to work with someone who has experience in managing projects from inception to execution and has a background experience in finance and book keeping.
JOB DESCRIPTION

Being responsible for all aspects of a project from the design stage through to completion and handover to the client.

Writing up all project documentation.

Submitting progress reports to stakeholders and senior managers.
-
Taking responsibility of projects through their entire lifecycle.
-
Properly scoping a project.
-
Managing project budgets.
-
Managing project resources.
-
Communicating with stakeholders to clarify the desired outcome of a project.
-
Ensuring that all relevant processes are followed on projects.
-
Regularly review and analyse the project scope.
-
Managing client expectations.
-
Identifying project risks.
-
Liaising with implementing partners across Africa on specific projects
-
Responsible for the financial transactions, management of the petty cash, collection and storage of all receipts and the provision of a monthly financial report for all transactions that are done during the activities of the project.

Ensure that the transactions engaged by the organization are aligned with its Finance Manual.

Collect and file all receipts, and the provision of a financial report for the activities undertaken per month

Reconcile monthly expenses with bank statements and make sure that all expenses follow the Standard operating Procedures of the organization
KEY SKILLS REQUIRED

Great educational background, preferably in the fields of project and budget management

Proven working experience as a project administrator

Knowledge and awareness of Project Management principles, documents and plans.

Good facilitation and analytical skills.

Ability to deliver results on time, on budget, and to high standards.

Ability to quickly gain the technical, behavioural and contextual elements of a project.

Running large- and small-scale projects.

Project reporting.
-
Stakeholder management.

Book keeping and Finance experience

Financial background, with understanding or hands-on experience in book keeping accounting

Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
