POSITION SUMMARY

​

The Mine Supervisor oversees specific sections of the mine, ensuring crews execute tasks efficiently, safely, and according to plan. ​

​

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

• Supervise operators, drivers, and field crews

• Ensure execution of:

  • Digging

  • Loading

  • Hauling

• Enforce daily work plans from Mine Foreman

• Monitor:

  • Equipment performance

  • Operator productivity

• Conduct shift inspections and reporting

• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards

• Report breakdowns, delays, and operational issues

• Maintain discipline and workforce efficiency

 

KPIs

• Shift production output

• Crew productivity

• Safety compliance

• Equipment downtime response time

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

​

• Technical certificate or diploma

• 5–8 years mining experience

• Strong leadership and field coordination skills
