POSITION SUMMARY

​

The Haulage Manager is responsible for all material movement, ensuring efficient, safe, and cost-effective transportation of ore, waste, and materials across Sierra Rutile operations.

​

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

• Manage truck fleet operations and dispatch

• Optimize:

  • Haul routes

  • Cycle times

  • Fleet allocation

• Ensure daily haulage targets are met

• Monitor:

  • Fuel consumption

  • Tire usage

  • Truck productivity

• Coordinate closely with:

  • Mine Foreman (production needs)

  • Workshop Manager (fleet availability)

• Implement fleet tracking and reporting systems

• Ensure compliance with road safety and operational protocols

• Manage drivers and enforce discipline

• Analyze and reduce cost per ton hauled

• Tons hauled per day

• Cost per ton

• Fuel efficiency

• Fleet utilization

• Downtime and delays

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

​

• Degree/Diploma in Logistics, Engineering, or related field

• 8–12 years experience in haulage/mining logistics

• Strong operational and analytical skills
