BACKGROUND

​

The Millennium Challenge Account (MCA) - Sierra Leone, collaborating with the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) of the Government of the United State of America, delivers projects under the $500 million Compact that address development challenges in the country through the implementation of the Power Sector Reform Project, the Transmission Backbone Project, and the Distribution and Access Project. 

 

MCA Sierra Leone is currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Courier/Office Support.

POSITION SUMMARY

​

The Courier/Office Support provides courier and general administrative support services to the MCA-Sierra Leone team. This role involves performing a variety of unskilled tasks as helper and messenger.

REQUIREMENTS (EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES)

​

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent.

 

Experience

• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience working in an office environment, preferably within an international organisation, government, or private sector environment.

• Proficiency in general office equipment and machines such as photocopiers and scanners.

• Knowledge of local geography, including the locations of key government offices, project sites, and other relevant destinations.

• Basic understanding of smartphone applications.

• Have a good understanding of health and safety regulations.

• High level of confidentiality and integrity.
