SUMMARY

 

The post holder should report directly to the Financial Controller and be able to direct the financial affairs of the organization and prepare financial analyses of operation including and financial statements with supporting schedules, for the guidance of management.

Responsible for Company’s financial plans and policies, Its accounting practices. the conduct of Its relationship with financial community, the maintenance of its fiscal records and the preparation of financial reports. 

 

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

​

• Development, analyses, and interpretation of statistical and accounting information in order to appraise operating results in terms of profitability performance against budget, and other matters bearing on the fiscal soundness and operating effectiveness of the hotel

 

• Responsible for evaluating the performance of personnel in the Accounting department

​

• Maintains the company’s system of accounts and keeps books and records on all company transactions and assets

 

• Coordinates and directs the preparation of the budget and financial

 

• Forecasts and maintains other planning and control procedures (including the cost accounting system), and analyzes and reports variances

 

• Is responsible for tax planning and compliance with all corporate and state payroll, and other applicable taxes

 

• Is responsible for providing company and its management with the appropriate financial and operating information if necessary

• Sees that company policy is carried out

​

• Assists other departments within forecasting financial needs

​

• Accelerates cash receipts

​

• Oversees bank balances and bank reconciliation

​

• Maintains lines of credit and banking relationship

​

• Controls profit-sharing records

​

• Evaluates and implements computerized accounting system

​

 

EDUCATION EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIRED

 

• Very sound Knowledge of accounting procedures and practices

• Technical and Analytical Skills

• Attention to detail

• A degree in Accounting or Finance or part qualified ACCA or CPA

• MS Excel skills

• Previous experience of not less than 10 years is desirable.
