OVERVIEW:
A new bakery operating in the east of Freetown, Sierra Leone is hiring a Barista with the following responsibilities:

 

• Prepares a variety of ice, hot and blended and cold drinks provided by the shop by using various types of machines

• Assume 100% of responsibilities of coffees served

• Maintains the highest quality, consistent product standard

• Follow all company drinks and procedure

• Great customer service with fast, friendly, personalized service and develop a rapport with customers by learning their names, favourite drinks and food items

• Verbally receive and call back customer

• Provide excellent customers services 100% of the time with lively attitude

• Ensure that all customers are educated on our product and services

• Maintain a clean and sanitary work station area tables, refrigerating equipment shelves and utensils

• Present proper drink presentation and garnish

• Promoting and recommending menu options to customers

Key Qualifications and Competencies

​

• Certificate in beverage preparation

• At least three years experience in beverage preparation

• Able to stand for long periods of time

• Able to work unsupervised

• Able to prioritize and work in fast-paced environment

• Focus on customer satisfaction

• Practice basic safety procedures with respect to equipment and handling hot beverages

• Be efficient and organized

• Build good relationships with customers

• Able to maintain a clean work environment
