A new bakery operating in the east of Freetown, Sierra Leone is hiring an Assistant Pastry Chef with the following responsibilities:

  • Supports the Head Bakery Chef in managing the Pastry production team

  • Assist with administrative tasks such as inventory management

  • Supervising the Pastry process

  • Ensuring high-quality standards

  • Investigate and resolve customers’ problems such with deliveries and accounting issues

  • Produce a great number of pastries base on orders

  • Call customers when items are available for pick-up


Key Qualifications and Competencies

  • Must have certificate or diploma in culinary arts, pasty making, baking or related field

  • At least 5 years of working experience

  • Must have excellent customer service and communication skills
